Our Fundamental Beliefs

Our supreme desire is to know Christ and to be conformed into His image by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only the over-emphasis of the doctrinal differences which have divided the body of Christ.

We believe that the only true basis of Christian Fellowship is His (Agape) love, which is greater than any differences we possess and without which we have no right to claim ourselves Christians
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God and inerrant in the original writings. We believe that in the English language - careful study of various translations, and understanding consistent themes, not a literal interpretation of singled out verses, is the key to understanding true Christianity.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that our ultimate goal is to have intimate fellowship with Him and each other.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ; in His virgin birth; in His sinless life; in His vicarious and atoning death through the shedding of His blood on the cross; that His sacrifice has paid the price for our past, present, and future sins; in His bodily resurrection; in His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe very strongly in the freedom from the law found in Christ under Grace (see Romans 3, Galatians 3-5, and Colossians 2), and that Christians should live in this freedom as long as the balance found in Romans 14, I Corinthians 6 & 10 is followed.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. Not by following a list of man made rules or traditions, but by being a more loving and compassionate person - therefore being more Christlike.
We believe that the lost and sinful man must be saved and that man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and not in any type of man made religion or self righteousness.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved: they that are saved unto resurrection of life and they that are unsaved (those who would reject God's FREE gift of salvation) unto the resurrection of damnation.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. This unity is based on being members of His body, and not on our conforming to any man's or group of men's theology or traditions.

We believe Worship of God should be spiritual. That Church services should remain flexible and yielded to the leading of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 8:14)

We believe Worship of God should be inspirational. That Church services should give great place to music in their services. (Psalms 147: 1)

We believe Worship of God should be intelligent. That Church services should be designed with great emphasis upon teaching the Word of God to equip the saints for the work of ministry and to edify the body of Christ. (Ephesians 4:11-16)

We believe: Worship of God is fruitful. Therefore: We look for His love in our lives as the supreme manifestation that we have been truly worshipping Him. (Galatians 5:22-26)
